How do you occupy your free time?
In our free time, my wife, Laura, and I like to ride our Harley’s, travel, spend time in Maine, and visit our 2 adult children: Matt - soon to be near Bangor, ME (again) and, Marcelle in Raleigh, NC. I also like to volunteer my time with the board of my synagogue, through my work as a Rotarian, and with other organizations in the area.
How long have you lived in Middletown?
I have worked in Middletown at Atrium Medical Center Foundation for 13 years, proudly developing charitable gifts and resources dedicated to building healthier communities in southwest Ohio. While Laura and I do not live in Middletown we feel right at home here with many friends – we certainly have a strong connection to Middletown and consider ourselves part of this community.
What are your musical inspirations?
My musical inspirations/favorites from my earliest years were John Denver, Elton John, Olivia Newton John, and the band – Boston. But I frankly enjoy most genres of music and am truly a musical child of the Rock & Disco 70’s, while also growing up with Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass, Billy Holiday, Streisand, and Gilbert & Sullivan.
Why do you support CBI Middletown?
I support CBI Middletown because all of the wonderful things it does for our community from it’s Rise Out-Of-School program and the Parent Resource Center to its Community Workforce Solutions program and the Robert “Sonny” Hill Community Center – all coming together to, in a cradle to career continuum, make Middletown a better place to be for all ages.

Are you ready to rock? .png)
Join us Thursday, June 26th at the Historic Sorg Opera House for an electric night full of singing, dancing, and community. Your favorite local celebrities are ready to take to the stage and they need a rockin' crowd to cheer them on. During the concert, patrons can look forward to seeing our performers backed by a live band (Live Your Dream), a moving performance by our Middletown students, and a special presentation from Dayton's very own Zapp band! A General Admission ticket grants you entry the Sorg, but purchase a VIP ticket to enjoy festivities at the Windamere before the big show. The VIP event is an opportunity to mingle with the performers and other guests and includes catered food, drink tickets, a photo booth, and more. We look forward to seeing you there!
Consider clicking the "Donate" button on this page if you are unable to attend or if you would like to give more towards a fundraiser's goal. Proceeds go towards the Community Building Institute's cradle-to-career programming. Visit our website to learn more about the work we do.
